The Books I Read

I'm trying to read more genres, obviously, but you know, old habits die hard.

I'm a huge huge huge Dessen fan. John Green too, and JK Rowling (because we all are).

I tend to read female authors, not on purpose but because those are the kinds of books I'm drawn to. I'm drawn to YA realistic fiction. I don't care much if the narrator is male or female, or the gender of the author either for that matter.

I enjoy nonfiction but I don't actively seek it out. For the most part I just go on a case by case basis. Also, I have to read a few for school.

I also love love love fantasy, but I often find them hard to get through. If it's not believable or if it's too overwrought then I might give up.

Recommendations, by the way, are totally welcome. Encouraged even.
